The Wedding is being held in Dehradun, India. Dehradun is the capital of Uttarakhand, a state in Northern India. A beautiful state known as “Dev Bhoomi”, the Land of Gods.
2. What is the nearest International Airport?
 Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), Delhi, India. There are several direct flights daily from London.
3. What is the nearest local Airport?
Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun (DED).
4. By what dates do I have to arrive in Delhi?
 It is recommended to be in Delhi by 14th October.
5. What is the best way to reach the Wedding Destination?
 The best ways to reach Dehradun is via Road & Air. A coach transfer Is arranged for all the guests from Delhi to Dehradun on 15th October. The direct coach takes about 5hr to reach the destination, it will be a fun and scenic journey. Book here.
 Alternatively, guests can fly to the local airport, which is a 45 mins flight from Delhi, followed by a 30mins road transfer to the Resort. Please note local flights have luggage restrictions.
6. Is there any Hotel accommodation arranged in Delhi?

It is recommended to stay at The Umrao on 14th October, as the coach to Dehradun will depart from this hotel by 8.30am on 15th October.
7. Will there be airport pickup arranged from Delhi Airport?
 There is no pre-arranged transfer from Delhi Airport. Uber and other app-based taxis are easy to book as free Wi-Fi is available at the Airport. Prepaid taxi counters are also available at the Airport.
8. Do I need a visa for India? And how do I apply for one?

Please note e-visa applications take up to 72 hours to process, for 30-day visas it is recommended to apply 30 days in advance of the date of travel.
9. Are any vaccinations required for India?
 There are no compulsory vaccinations required to visit India from UK. It is recommended to get vaccinated for hepatitis A, tetanus and typhoid.
10. How do I get local currency?
 India Rupees are only available in India. There are money exchange counters at the Airport as well the Hotel. Card payments are widely accepted in India.
11. Is transportation provided to Dehradun?
 A complimentary coach transfer is available for all guests from Delhi to the Resort in Dehradun.
 The coach will depart from The Umrao Hotel in Delhi on 15th October at 8.30am to arrive promptly by 3pm at the resort.
 The journey by road is 4-5 hours, with bio breaks along the way. A light packed lunch will be provided.

12. Is transportation provided back to Delhi?
 A complimentary coach transfer is available for all guests returning to Delhi on 18th October.
 The coach will depart the resort post checkout around 12pm and reach Delhi by evening.
 Guests will be dropped off at a hotel near Delhi International Airport.

 We have chosen to keep the name of the resort a surprise, that will be revealed upon arrival. Rest assured; it is a luxury property with all amenities for a comfortable stay. It is in Dehradun, only 30 minutes from the local airport.
2. Are all events being held at the same resort?
 Yes, all events will be held at the multiple venues within the same resort, where the guests will be staying.
3. How do we book a room at the resort?
 The resort including accommodation has already been booked for our guests during these dates. The Hospitality team will be in touch shortly to conduct the RSVP process, to ensure a smooth pre-check in process.
4. Is the stay at the resort in Dehradun complimentary?
 Yes, the stay at the resort in Dehradun is complimentary.
5. How do we RSVP?
 If you have been sent an invitation, our rsvp team will be in touch shortly to confirm your attendance and request further information from yourself including flight and ID details.
 Please note due to there being limited rooms guests are kindly requested to rsvp by 31st August.
6. Are there any specific check-in and check-out times at the resort?
 Check-in at the resort is at 2:00 PM and check-out is at 12:00 PM. Please inform us if require any special arrangements to be made.

 Rooms are of a deluxe category; they are spacious rooms which include: a super-king bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, along with all the amenities of a 5-star hotel.

 The room allocation will be managed by the hospitality team and guests will be duly informed.
 Guests’ families and groups will be taken into consideration in allocation of rooms.
10. Are the event venues and the resort wheelchair accessible?
 Yes, the venues and resort are wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you have any special requirements.
11. How is the general climate and the expected temperature range in Dehradun during October?
 The climate during mid-October is pleasant. Rain is not expected, with daytime highs of 28° C and night-time temperatures of around 15° C.
12. What are the events along with times and venues?
 A complete wedding itinerary along with details of the events, timings and venues will be shared with all guests.
 All events are held at the venues within the resort. The venues are all walking distance from the rooms.
 An on-demand golf buggy service is available to help get guests to different parts of the resort.

 Prompt arrival is requested to respect the tightly packed schedule of entertainment, along with other elements planned for each event.
13. Is there a dress code for the events and is it compulsory?
 We have designed a wedding wardrobe planner to help the guests dress for each event, our events are themed with a matching dress code. We encourage our guests to join in the celebrations by dressing up for each event.
 Please note the dress code is not compulsory, and we want everyone to be comfortable.
14. Will there be assistance with hair & makeup?
 We have a dedicated team available to assist guests with complementary hair and makeup on 17th October for the day Wedding and night Reception events. Further details will be provided closer to the time.
15. If we have any special health or dietary requirements?
 If you have any special health or dietary requirements, please kindly inform our hospitality team in advance.
 Please note all food served will be vegetarian.
 Alcohol will also be served.
16. Is there any medical facility nearby or doctor on call at the resort?
 Yes, the resort will have a doctor on call to tend to any medical needs.
 The nearest medical facility is 30 minutes from the resort.
 However, it is requested for guests to carry their own medicines if required.
17. Will there be childcare services available at the resort?
 Children’s games and activities are planned.
 There is an outdoor children’s playground along with a well- equipped games room with a pool table, table tennis and other games.

18. Can I bring a plus one to the wedding events?
